ANDREW LAWRENCE

Managing Director

Andrew began as a Forecourt Attendant with City Petroleum in 1975. He was involved in many projects and managerial positions,  including working on the demerger of Shell Mex Bp.   Andrew started at Lawrences in 1976 and his responsibilities have included the development of shops on the licensee and owned sites.  This was a new and innovative concept at that time in the industry.  Andrew became a Director in the 1980’s and, finally,  Managing Director in 1990 when  his father took a step back. He has been actively involved in the PRA since that time, becoming a member of the Executive Committee in 2001. In addition Andrew  joined the PRA Technical committee 11 years ago and has been involved in supporting the very important work this committee has done over many years. Andrew is still Managing Director but in the process of moving responsibilities onto his son Ben Lawrence (5th Generation) and his brother, Simon Lawrence.
